Beginning Rug Hooking Class     

​

In this class, Students will learn the basic rug hooking technique of pulling loops of wool fabric with a rug hook, through the foundation fabric of the rug hooking pattern, how to hook straight lines, corners, points, and curves as well as how to finish their rug hooking project.

 

Students will be allowed to use the store rug hooking frames and various rug hooks in class. Students will work on the project in class and be shown how to finish their rug hooking project before leaving class.

 

Class will last 5-6 hours. At 1:00 pm, we will take a 30-minute break for lunch. You are welcome to bring a sack lunch, get something for lunch from a near-by sandwich shop, or we can order pizza from across the street.

 

• Pre-registration is required 3 days prior to class. You can contact the store or stop by to register for a class. Class is limited to 3 people. Payment of Class Fee is due with registration.

 

• Class dates will be determined by already scheduled store classes or events

 

• Teacher reserves the right to cancel class and will notify students of any cancellations by email or telephone

 

• Teacher reserves the right to color-plan the Beginning Rug Hooking project

 

• Class Fees are non-refundable

 

CLASS FEE:  $75.00 per student (Includes all supplies except Rug Hooking Frame)
